These chairs are not oversized at all--I'm 5'8" and they are not deep enough for me to sit very comfortably in. I also find the cushion fabric feels cheap and scratchy. Only the seat cushions have zippers, but I plan on making new covers for them eventually. The back cushions are not thick as claimed, but in a way that's good because you need the depth on the chair seat. They rock and swivel well. Look nice. Just wish they were bigger. I measured the cushion sizes against some oversized chairs we already have and they seemed very similar, but not the case. For shorter people, these chairs would be fine. They were not real easy to put together but we managed. Overall, they are pretty good, not perfect for our use.
